Though we’ve already had a taste of the performance of the all-new, sixth-generation Camaro during our brief drive of a prototype version, we now know exactly what it can muster as Chevrolet has confirmed key performance specs for the car.

The new Camaro, which lands in showrooms this fall as a 2016 model and starts at $26,695 with shipping, benefits from less weight and more power across the board. Weight savings are as much as 390 pounds, and the most powerful model at launch packs as much as 455 horsepower.

There are there engine options to choose from this time around, with the entry-level unit being the new turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder, the mid-level option being the 3.6-liter V-6 and the range-topper, for now, being the 6.2-liter LT1 V-8 lifted out of the Corvette. As previously announced, the 2.0-liter turbo four is good for 275 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque; the 3.6-liter V-6 offers 335 hp and 284 lb-ft; and the 6.2-liter V-8 matches the Corvette’s 455 hp and 455 lb-ft.

All three engine options can be had with a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic, and the performance specs for either option are listed below.
